Cotton Embroidered Comforter Set adds warmth and comfort to home life. Proper cleaning and maintenance can extend its service life and maintain its beauty.
For cleaning, first check the product's washing instructions label. Generally speaking, cotton bedding can be washed in a gentle machine. Select the gentle mode to avoid high-speed rotation to damage the embroidery part. Use neutral detergents and avoid using detergents containing bleach or strong alkalinity, as these may cause cotton fabrics to fade or damage the embroidery thread. For example, some special cotton laundry detergents have a moderate pH value and can effectively remove stains while protecting the color and texture of the fabric. When washing, it is best to wash quilt covers, sheets, etc. separately to prevent friction with hard objects such as zippers and buttons of other clothes from damaging the embroidery.
For stain treatment, fresh stains should be treated as soon as possible. If you accidentally get stains such as juice and coffee, you can first press gently with a clean wet cloth to absorb the excess stain liquid, then apply a small amount of detergent locally, rub gently, and finally rinse with clean water. For more stubborn stains, you can use a special stain remover, but be sure to test it in a small area in an inconspicuous corner before use to ensure that it will not damage the bedding.
In terms of maintenance, the drying method is critical. After washing, you should choose low temperature drying or natural drying. High temperature drying may shrink and harden cotton fabrics, affecting comfort and dimensional stability, and may also have adverse effects on the embroidery part. When drying naturally, avoid direct sunlight, because long-term exposure to sunlight will cause cotton fabrics to fade and age. You can turn the bedding over to dry it to reduce direct sunlight on the front of the fabric.
There are also particularities when storing it. The bedding should be cleaned and dried thoroughly before storage. Desiccant and insect repellent can be placed in the wardrobe to prevent moisture and insect infestation. However, be careful not to let the insect repellent come into direct contact with the bedding. You can put it in a small cloth bag and hang it in the closet. At the same time, avoid folding the bedding for too long. You can take it out and refold or shake it regularly to prevent wrinkles from being fixed and affecting the appearance and comfort of use.
